A one day workshop where you make a Native American Medicine drum using your own inner wisdom to birth your sacred instrument with love, respect and honour.
Learn how to build and create your own Healing Medicine Drum the traditional way using authentic materials, 15" hoop pine Hoop and Deer Rawhide .

Drum making is a powerful transformative experience. It heals the whole of your life, allowing you to let go of things that don’t serve you anymore. Making you whole, and empowered. It is an ancient tradition of the pure people. The drum is used for healing, prayer, gratitude, ceremony, requests for information and journeying. Tracy’s drums have a spiral design on the back, that have been channeled by her guides.

Come and join us and learn the drum making craft for 1 day and reconnect with the ancient traditions and energy.
During our drum making workshop we will:
- Create sacred space
- Journey to meet the deer who has gifted its hide for you
- Be given a message for your drum from the deer
- Give thanks through the offering of sacred herbs, for the gifts of this drum making
- Create your own drum from the deer hide. Cut out the head of your drum and the lacing
- Lace your drum together over the hoop
- Birth your drum
At the end of the workshop you will receive a bag to carry your drum in. Instructions on how to care for your drum. A beater, a hook to hang your drum up with, whilst its drying and a life sparkle essence to assist you with any healing that has occurred during and post the drum making process.
Tracy makes drums for a Native American Indian Chief of the Blackfoot Sioux tribe. He has gifted her the “drum makers” necklace that was handcrafted by his Aunt Woolita almost 90 years ago.
I ask that people bring a towel and water. All other materials will be provided for on the day.
