All Nations Gathering

11 - 13 November 2011

An All Nations Gathering is hosted by the Kupidabin Cultural Association. The land is protected under the State Government (E.P.A) Environmental Protection Act as a Rare Eco Region with ‘Land for Wildlife Accreditation’.

We see the 3rd festival in 2011 with an ever growing number of participants and line up of performers, speakers, workshops and ceremonies.

The All Nations Gathering has become a major cultural event in the Moreton Bay region, attracting national and international visitors alike. The theme for 2011 is "Connecting to the Heart".

People from all cultures are drawn to this event, regardless of age, gender, race or religious beliefs, to connect to their roots and experience community spirit on a global scale.

There is an increasing interest in ancient traditions and various cultures, recognising the importance of supressed knowledge, essential for sustainable living. Living in harmony with ourselves, neighbours and nature are the basic fundamentals of ensuring the survival of humanity. Respect for all that is living, gratitude, compassion, honesty & integrity, peace, and the importance of family union, are just some of the values that need to be taught and brought back into the consciousness of human kind. Taking responsibility for our actions and being aware of the effects for the next 7 generations.
